a bit of a knitty catch up

by Nova on January 2, 2015

Firstly, Happy New Year! Here’s to a  happy, healthy, crafty, productive & fun 2015 xxx

I have a few knit finishes to catch up with around these parts & over on Rav.

I think 2014 was the year of the sticks for me more so than needle & thread,  though I do have one or two stitchy projects I still need to share so I’ll be back shortly with a catch up post for them too.

So here’s my knitty catch up  in order of completion….

Lacy Rib Socks in fab Crazy Zauberball sock yarn.

lacy socks

it was a super fun pattern to knit & love the randomness of the yarn!

Pattern notes & details over on Ravelry.

Greyhaven Cowl in the prettiest of yarns  – photos don’t do the colour justice at all, it’s like the inside of a shell.

I love this pattern & the yarn is so wonderful to knit with.  I will need to make another as a keeper at some point as this one was gifted. Notes & deets in Rav

Lastly & possibly my favourite knitty finish to date is my Song of the Sea Cowl

I adore the yarn, the colour & the pattern The process was a joy & this one is definitely a keeper.  Details of yarn, pattern etc over at Ravelry

I do have one more knit finish to share – a man cowl for Andy – but my model has popped out so will share that one another day.

Welcome Back and happy new year.
Both of those cowls are stunning – I think Greyhaven is my favourite.

Wow, that’s some amazing knitting. They all look great, but the Song of the Sea pattern is definitely unique and eye catching. I think it would be my favourite, too.

Love the colour on those top socks, and the cowl pattern is so pretty
