doll pillow

by Nova on June 9, 2013

I just remembered that I forgot to share the little pillow case I stitched up to go with the Liberty Doll Quilt I made a while ago.

prairie point doll pillow

I made the pillow case just like a downsized real one with  a mini pillow inside as I know little hands would enjoy the taking on & off of the pillowcase for wash day! I couldn’t resist adding some prairie points.

I don’t recall the dimensions but you can see the scale in comparison to the doll quilt (which  measures approx 14 1/2″ x 12 1/2″)

& here it is, over on the other side of the world in action :)

That is ridiculously cute. I need to get my Princess a dolls cradle so I have an excuse to do the same!

Very cute! Although I’m afraid, as a child, I’d have been crawling around on that carpet underneath the cradle with my toy cars!

How cute is that miniature pillowcase with its perfect little Liberty points! I’m so glad you found the tutorial useful Nova in making your beautiful dolly set.

That pillow and quilt are really cute! I LOVE the prarie points. I treasure the doll quilts and pillows that my grandmother made for my brothers and I. The dolls are long gone, but their clothes (which she also made) and the quilts and pillows have been kept for many many years.
