a first aid pouch made for a travelling niece…

tiny pink patchwork made into a drawstring bag ( I made the ‘everything bag’ size)
stitched with love
& a personalized
I filled it with some travel essentials that I guessed a 20 year old wouldn’t be packing. A sensible aunty gift. Gawd I feel old!!!

This is sooooo sweet! Every niece needs an aunty like you :)
Nova, your bags just kill me! They are some of my absolute favorites, and this one is no exception! Love all the pink and sweet details! :)
It’s so sweet – I bet she loves it
What a fantastic bag and present. Your niece will love it and the ‘sensible’ contents too. Di x
Your niece is a very lucky girl having an aunty to make her something so beautiful and practical.
Favourite Aunty!!!
so cute…
so lovely. I will have to make more of these bags for my daughter. Your bags inspire me.
Hee hee, fun! Now I do hoped it had a few boozy miniatures to take the pain away and other equally useful stuff…
Nova I love the drawstring bag you made I love the little pink squares, again another great job!!
That’s one lucky niece!!! I just love how you’ve added the First Aid cross and the embroidery. I’ve followed the links to see how you did the patchwork… I have to try this.
What a lovely bag, and what a sweet auntie, LUCKY niece.
this is wonderful and such a thoughtful gift
Very thoughtful! I appreciated having first-aid supplies with me when I travelled. You never know when you find yourself in need of antiseptic ointment and bandaids without your language dictionary handy. (I may have some experience with needing to explain things at a chemist’s in Russia…)
Oh, how sweet of you! I hope she appreciates it (I bet she will). Especially if there are some Dora the Explorer Band-Aids in there!! It’s such a pretty pouch.
What a pretty bag for a lovely gift!
How fantastic…I have the pattern and enough scraps to give this a try! Beautiful gift…..Thanks for the link to the tutorial….

That’s a truly loving gesture. I bet it’ll mean a lot to her, actually. And, if old… old and wise.
A sweet bag full of love from aunty, can´t be any nicer!
Actually rather nice to be old(er) I have all ready done so much fun and silly things so I feel rather wise :) somedays.
Have a nice weekend
