It’s always nice to surround yourself with pretty things in your sewing space & if they are useful too then that’s gotta be a plus.
Measuring in at a cute 3″ high x 3″ wide (approx), I made this little thread catcher using the custom size formula from my nesting fabric bowls pattern with the tiniest of Liberty Scraps (nothing is wasted in this sewing space!) & my fav Kona coal.
A small but handy addition to any sewing room and also small enough to fold up & pop into your sewing bag for crafternoons with the girls or retreat.

Your cups are fantastic. I need to make some more. I’ve bee planning to add a cup to some of the Christmas presents. just for the extra wow factor they always have :)
It’s so pretty Nova! I’m working on a body pillow cover for my son for Christmas. It’s taking forever as I’m just not getting into it. Really need to get moving on it though – Christmas is creeping closer!

So cute bowl, I try to find time to make some for my self but I have working maddely on a quilt king size, for my daughter for Christmas present to her and her boyfriend, the moved in togtheter 6 months ago. Just the binding left! The sun shines today and we have -20 celsius, but I will take the photo out in the snow any way.

Lovely! I love it that you save every last scrap and I can see why.
I have copied you using little fabric bowls for threads and scraps and it makes the sewing area so much neater and not such a pain to vacuum afterwards.
That pattern of yours is a winner, soooo easy to follow, so organised and so useful. Excellent for gifts (even the pattern would be a well-received gift for a crafty friend).
I plan to make a few more fabric boxes over the Christmas break.
I love making these but usually make a square, thanks for a pattern for a round one, I will certainly try that now!
Oh so teeny and cute! I’ve been sewing up 1 24″ block, 2 12″ blocks, and 2 paper pieced wall hangings, but I did that all Friday night and Saturday, I’ve been slacking today ;)
So cute, especially the hand stitching. I haven’t been making much besides drawstring bags the last few days. I want to start back on a quilt!

I’ve only turned a shirt into a birthday shirt for my little one, but nothing else. Sadly, but my kids don’t let me do more. I even considered buying christmas cards instead of making them… aaargh…
