…you just need a bit of almost instant gratification from a project.
a case was required for some sunnies.
a quick rummage turned up appropriate fabric.
add to that a flex frame, some felt for lining & a great little tutorial to follow for the basic construction.
approx 20 mins later case was complete.
probably not going to win any awards for neatness of sewing on this one but job jobbed & I am happy :)
have you made anything that was so super quick & easy it left you wondering why you had put it off for days?!
notes:
fabric = glasses by echino
lining = cheapo craft felt
finished size = approx 3.25″ x 7″ (made to fit my sunnies)

Lovely! Very stylish!
As good as a bought one ;)
Looks great! I really need to use my flex frame stash…
Very nice! My tendency has always been to come up with epic over-ambitious projects that drag on for years (literally). These days I’m really feeling the pull of simple, small projects. I still put them off, though – been meaning to make some tea-towels for our kitchen for a year or two, and so far I’ve only managed to make a couple for other people…
Your case is gorgeous and the fabric so appropiate. I love it.
love it, and yes, I totally hear ya on putting off projects like that. it’s so cool. :)
I’d like to order some sunshine to make sunnies necessary again! Lovely. I feel like that about most things I make; if I stopped pondering so much I would make so much more!
