i love flex frame pouches :) I’ve made a couple before to house my camera and flip. They are really easy to whip up and super practical.

scrappy flex frame pouch

This one is the new home to  a really cool dice game we play. Best dice game ever. I don’t know what the game is called & it’s hard to explain the rules without actually playing it with you, but rest assured the dice now have a nice new home to be carried around in, along with notepad and mini ikea pencil for keeping score ;)

notes ::

flex frame from Nicole Mallalieu Designs

dimensions – approx 4 1/2″ x 6″

pattern – nothing fancy, just 2 scrappy rectangles sewn together & lined. The width was determined by the size of the flex frame and the length to fit a mini notebook.

There is a cute tutorial for a flex frame puffy pouch at Pink Penguin ( i used Ayumis method of attaching the pocket for the frame & also the lining) & there is a flex frame purse tute on Nicole Mallaieu’s blog  for the basics of how to use the flex frame.

fabrics – from the scrap bucket.

embroidered button – from my mum x

What a gorgeous purse. I’ve recently ordered two flex frames and I wasn’t sure what to do with them, a camera case is a great idea so thanks!

Very nice pouch.

Does the game have five dice that can be rolled up to three times per turn? That would be Yahtzee.

The “maybe” button is a perfect choice for a dice pouch. Awesome.

Too cute! Do ikea know you’ve nicked their pencil? I’m sure me and about fifty thousand others have done the same :)

This is such a wonderful pouch, I love all the hand stitching and the flex frame is a great idea, I have to give it a try soon. Thanks for inspiring me.
