tiny crochet cup & saucer. eek.

by Nova on March 25, 2011

I haven’t turned up much opp shop gold of late so imagine my squeal of delight when I unearthed this little treasure from in amongst half finished embroideries & some tatty doilies…

a teeny tiny crochet ‘cup & saucer’ milk jug cover.  So sweet & the little bobbly bits around it remind me of hops  a little bit too ( my family have a hop farm back in England) so it really needed to come home with me.

Sad to think all those  perfect tiny stitches would be unloved and sent to the opp shop, but I’m kinda glad they were ~ one persons trash was this gal’s treasure ;)

Oh! That teacup and saucer is sooooo cute! I have admired your blog, and others like http://imagingermonkey.blogspot.com from afar for quite a while so thought it was high time I said hi. You and the rest of the blogging community have inspired me enough to finally join in! Thank you! :-)
